We are currently recruiting for an exciting (flexible office space) Business Development / Client Relations position based in the Farringdon, Central London area.The title of your role will be defined by your level of experience in this sector.

This company is an international flexible-office / co-working office space, real estate brokerage that has an established and dominant presence over decades in mature global commercial property markets.

This Position Offers:

  • Earnings of £40k - £80k: base salary + uncapped commissions

  • Commercial Property Training: flexible-office leasing

  • A driving license is NOT required.

  • This role is Mon-Fri only with NO WEEKENDS! 


Details of the Role & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: 

    • £25,000 - £30,000 - 2yrs min of business development experience in any industry

    • £30,000 - £50,000 - 3yrs+ of BD experience in the flexible office space / commercial leasing sector

  • Commissions: 5% of gross deal values you generate

  • OTE: £40,000 - £80,000; depending on which end of the salary range

  • Target Bonuses: New incentive bonuses to be discussed at the interview stage

  • Working Hours: Monday to Thursdays 9am – 5:30pm; Fridays: 9am to 5pm

  • Office Team: 35

  • Induction & Training:  Full induction and training in commercial leasing with regular assessments. Professional development and training opportunities.

Responsibilities & Duties for Business Development / Client Relations:

  • This role is a client relations role focused on face to face, local client visits to gain new clients in London.


This role will include but will not be limited to:

  • Targeting new business using existing and potential customer networks.

  • Coordinating the development and expansion of the company's global network of serviced offices and coworking spaces.

  • Liaising with prospective clients over the phone and through face-to-face meetings.

  • Networking, attending competitor events and building launches with serviced office providers

  • Driving sales growth, revenue generation and the overall quality of the selected partnerships

  • Maintaining effective communication with current partners and working closely with the sales team to increase revenue-generating activities

  • Sourcing new partnership opportunities with forward-thinking organisations to offer value-added benefits to all members

  • Coordinating all events and workshops including the company's co-working events

  • Working to monthly sales and KPI targets

  • Inputting accurate data onto the company CRM (Salesforce) system to record communication history with each client

  • Handling high levels of enquiries and phone calls professionally

  • Working closely with brand office providers to ensure a profitable relationship for both sides

  • Managing short and long term sales cycles through to completion

  • Managing high volumes of leads in a fast-paced and exciting role

  • Answering inbound calls

  • Remaining flexible as duties may vary from time to time, depending on business needs



Experience & Skills Required - Business Development / Client Relations:

  • A minimum of 2yrs business development experience in any B2B sector

  • 1-2yrs of flexible office / co-working space leasing is strongly preferred

  • Excellent verbal communication and written English language skills in order to deal with enquiries

  • Impeccable customer service skills

  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications to compose correspondence, maintain spreadsheets and workload

  • Exceptional time management skills of planning, prioritising and organisation with strong attention to detail
