Streetworks Coordinator
Remotely-based (home working)
£25,000 - £30,000

  • My client is currently looking to recruit a home-based Streetworks Coordinator to work on their fibre installation projects covering London and the Southeast.

  • As the Streetworks Coordinator, you will be part of our Streetworks Team and will support the Operations Manager in ensuring administration delivery.


Responsibilities:

  • As Streetworks Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with the management and administration of permitting. This will involve the monitoring and coordination of Streetworks activities.

  • Working closely with local authorities, you will be responsible for opening and closing permits using Streetworks systems whilst ensuring that all aspects of the TMA (Traffic Management Act) are met

  • Your role will involve regularly liaising with local authorities; helping to build good working relationships

  • Assisting management with challenging/resolving any FPNs

  • Coordinate defects, permits, and notices in accordance with NRSWA using Street Manager

  • Update and report work management systems to track work progress and maintain an accurate audit trail

  • Complete and distribute performance reports using internal systems

  • Respond to highway authority comments promptly


Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

  • You should be experienced in the use of Streetworks permitting systems including Street Manager

  • You should have a good knowledge of the New Roads and Streetworks (NRSWA) and Traffic Management Act (TMA

  • You should be proficient in Microsoft packages and be an excellent communicator
