We are recruiting for an Events Sales Manager to join an ever-growing team of a thriving, sustainability-and-design-led flexible workspace provider.

Due to continued growth and location expansion, they are now looking for an experienced (Business) Events Sales Manager for their new flagship workspace location in Central London


ROLE SUMMARY:

  • As the Event Space Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for the entire sales process, from initial outreach to post-event follow-up. Your goal is to maximize revenue and ensure the success of our event spaces.


Key Responsibilities:

Taking ownership of events revenue, you will lead the charge on events as part of an ever-expanding flexible workspace business!

You'll be the architect of the success of the events department, overseeing the entire sales experience for this exciting revenue stream.

Hit the ground running:

  • You will be responsible for launching their flagship event space in Central London by designing a seamless sales process and forging strategic partnerships with key event agencies.

  • Own the ongoing sales pipeline, securing a robust calendar of events across all our locations and ensuring their flawless execution.

JOB DESCRIPTION


Your Q1 Objectives:


1. Build Event Sales Infrastructure:

  • Create Sales Process: Develop a detailed sales journey and supporting materials.

  • Streamline Operations: Collaborate with colleagues to establish efficient systems and processes.

2. Establish Partnerships:

  • Network with Agencies: Identify and secure relationships with key event agencies and partners.

3. Set Performance Goals:

  • Define KPIs: Establish clear key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales targets for the financial year.

4. Drive Initial Success:

  • Secure Sales: Successfully sell the primary event space to achieve profitability in the first quarter.

  • Deliver Customer Satisfaction: Aim for a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 50 or higher.



    
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
  

Revenue and Events Growth:

  • Drive Revenue: Increase revenue and event bookings in key event spaces across the flagship location and entire portfolio in London.

  • Exceed Targets: Ensure events meet or surpass financial goals, continuously seeking improvements.

  • Repeat Business: Focus on repeat event bookings to build a strong pipeline.

Customer Experience:

  • Tailored Events: Collaborate with workspace teams to curate events that meet customer needs.

  • Smooth Handovers: Ensure a seamless transition of events to execution teams.

  • Visible Presence: Be actively involved in event bookings to monitor delivery and maintain relationships.

Marketing and Innovation:

  • Targeted Leads: Work with the marketing team to generate leads and maintain brand identity.

  • Market Leadership: Identify opportunities to stay ahead of competitors in the London events market.

Operations:

  • Contract Management: Oversee contract and invoicing processes for a smooth experience.

  • On-Time Payments: Ensure timely payments and a seamless financial process.

  • Create Strategic Partnerships: with top-tier introducer agencies and event suppliers to complement in-house expertise and deliver exceptional events.


 
YOUR KPIs


Financial Performance:

  • Revenue Generation: Compare actual event revenue to budgeted amounts.

  • Profitability: Measure the event profit margin (EBITDA) against budget targets.

Sales Effectiveness:

  • Conversion Rate: Track the percentage of event enquiries that result in confirmed bookings.

Customer Satisfaction:

  • Customer Feedback: Monitor the Net Promoter Score (NPS) of event bookers to gauge satisfaction.
