JOB SUMMARY:

This role is for a major infrastructure project in Maricopa County. Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Civil Superintendent to oversee all field operations on a critical $60 million water and roadway project.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established firm and lead a team in delivering a project of significant scale and impact.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven Experience: 3-5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman on heavy civil projects, with a strong track record of success on projects exceeding $10 million in value.

  • Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Authorized to work in the United States

  • 10+ years of Construction experience



RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Pre-Construction Planning: Thoroughly review project plans, specifications, and estimates to identify potential challenges and ensure alignment with project goals.

  • Scheduling & Resource Management: Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and maintain the project schedule, ensuring efficient allocation of labor, equipment, and materials.

  • Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Coordinate and oversee all subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements and timely delivery of materials.

  • Cost Control & Reporting: Monitor project costs, identify potential overruns, and provide timely reports to the Project Manager.

  • Quality Control & Safety: Maintain the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.

  • Team Leadership & Communication: Effectively lead and motivate field crews, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed daily logs, track progress, and provide accurate documentation for project closeout.
