2x Man Civils Operative Crews (NRSWA/NPORS) - Fibre Sub-Duct.
Northumberland and surrounding areas.
PERM ROLE: £160 - £180 (1st Man) £130 - £150 (2nd Man)

Within the role of Civils Operative, you will be building a full-fibre network in
Northumberland and surrounding areas by installing duct network, Armoured fibre cables, identifying network blockages to then repair and more.

You will be on private and public land which could include working on the highways, footways, service strips, fields and more.

Key Responsibilities will Include:

  • Perform associated telecommunication network build installing duct, buried armoured cable, and identify existing blockages.

  • Excavating in the Highways/footways complying with NRSWA and HSG47

  • Provide solutions to on site issues that may arise during construction and maintenance of networks.

  • Able to read comprehensive job packs provided by the planning department.

  • Comply with company policies and procedures, ISO certifications, industry standards, legal & regulatory obligations.

  • Compliance with SROH (Specification for Reinstatement of Openings in Highways)

  • Use of plant including specialist tracked cable plough vehicles, winches, rod pushers, 1.5-3t excavators and various other equipment.

  • Excellent understanding of health and safety which must also be demonstrated, successful completion and submission of risk assessments, adhere to specific training provided by the company to conduct given tasks.

  • Have a full, clean driver's licence.

  • Full clean driving licence held for a minimum of two years.

  • NRSWA, NPORS, PIA, SA001/002 accreditations Required.
