Location: hybrid (very flexible; 2 days or less in the office (West Hampstead); can work from home the rest of the time)
Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 ( Based on experience and qualifications)
Position: Full time and permanent. 

Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 6pm

  • Friday: 9am - 5:30pm

A mainly remotely-based Marketing Coordinator is needed to join a friendly in-house marketing team with an international property consultancy and interior design firm with multiple offices across London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, India, and mainland China. 

To be considered you must have:

  • A marketing degree and minimum of GCSE grade B in English Language

  • A minimum of 1yr of experience working in a marketing

  • Must be living in London


THE ROLE:

In this exciting opportunity, our client is seeking a Marketing Coordinator / Assistant – preferably within the property sector but they will consider experience from other sectors. 

The marketing department is responsible for developing and delivering all marketing activity across the business in support of our trading objectives.

The ideal candidate should be living in London and either have experience of working in the UK property industry, or have a genuine interest in the property sector.

The Marketing Coordinator role will suit someone looking for a varied role, without a specific focus on digital. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible mainly for, but not limited to:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answering the phone for the department

  • Coordinating content for print adverts, canvassing and magazine editorial for write-ups

  • Managing image libraries; liaising with photographers, third-parties, branch staff and web team

  • Purchasing and record-keeping of marketing collateral and organising fulfilment to branches and for events

  • Coordinating requests for branch visual media (signage, window and screen graphics)

  • Help with offline and online proofreading collateral, articles, adverts, and other media

  • Assisting with coordination of digital content for e-newsletters, website, PR & social media

  • Managing content updates on the website using CMS and WordPress; booking in updates with the web team (training will be provided

  • Assisting with checking content on Portals (Rightmove, Zoopla et al) and booking in design updates

  • Misc administration for the department including recording invoices, liaising with designers and suppliers, filing, setting up meetings.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

The successful applicant will be a highly organised administrator, probably already working as a Marketing Assistant looking for a step-up, with a keen eye for detail and continuity. The ability to multi-task and work on a few projects simultaneously and keep to agreed deadlines is essential.

A good knowledge of London life / UK realities is required to perform this role and knowledge of the UK property sector and how it works, would be a bonus but not essential.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Highly organised and able to prioritise own workload

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Able to communicate simply and cross-culturally, both written and oral

  • Good listening skills

  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with accurate typing skills. Knowledge of/use of WordPress and Photoshop useful

  • Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously

  • Flexible and able to adapt quickly under pressure

  • Easy-going character as we are always busy and have a lot of hands-on Directors!
