Our client is recruiting for an Interior Design / Furnishing Pack Business Development Associate to join their dynamic and hardworking team in NW London.

This position offers remote-working as it is field-based so you can work from home managing your own schedule after the initial 2-months of training in their offices.

  • The company is an established interior design, renovation, and furnishing (British) subsidiary of a larger property services consultancy with 30 offices and showrooms across London, Hong Kong, mainland China, Singapore, and Malaysia.

  • They have many Chinese investors and work with major London property developers and HNWIs throughout Asia.


Summary:


Working with property investor clients, this position requires someone who is an energetic self-starter who can quickly grasp the company’s vision, is resourceful and should be able to build sales by contacting and building relationships with new and existing clients.

Salary, Commissions & OTE:

  • Base Salary: £25,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

  • OTE: £80,000

  • Commissions: Will be discussed at the interview stage

  • Company phone and laptop will be provided


Hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 9am – 6pm

  • Friday: 9am to 5:30pm


Duties of this exciting Business Development role will include:

  • Conduct market research and explore new business opportunities and work closely with marketing to create and implement business strategies to increase brand awareness and sales.

  • The primary role of the Business development associate will be focused on expanding the company’s market share by developing new client relationships and strengthening existing client relationships to forge new opportunities


To be considered for the Business Development Associate position, you will have the following qualities:

  • Experience in furnishing pack or interior design sales.

  • Extremely organized and capable of managing the full 360 sales cycle.

  • Have previous experience in project management. (desirable but not a pre-requisite)

  • Outstanding track record of sales targets/Achievements.

  • Excellent Sales Skills: negotiations and relationship building qualities.

  • Articulate, motivated and immaculately presented.

  • Ideally from the interior design industry or related experience within the industry (i.e. have experience dealing with leading developers, agents, investors and landlords in the UK) however this is not a pre-requisite.

  • Quick to Adapt, fast learning ability and a team player.
