Our client is a multi-utilities service provider specialising in the delivery of integrated power and communications solutions. They are now looking for a Recruitment Coordinator on a contract-to-perm basis.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ideally, previous experience in a recruitment role.
- Up-to-date understanding of UK GDPR.
- 5 GCSEs (A-C) including English and Maths (or equivalent).
ROLE OVERVIEW:
As part of the HR Team, reporting directly to the Recruitment Advisor, the Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Recruitment Advisor in providing a high-quality recruitment support service to the wider business.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for working closely with the Recruitment Advisor to support hiring managers and provide a high-quality attraction, recruitment, and selection service for the business.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting the Recruitment Advisor with booking candidates for interviews, chasing candidates, sending information to candidates (via email, post etc).
- A point of contact for relevant new starter queries from applicants, project staff and senior managers.
- Responsible for building excellent relationships with the Hiring Managers and candidates.
- Maintenance of records and remaining compliant with legislation.
- Ensure confidentiality is always maintained (GDPR) – including emails, letters, filing, etc.
- Completing interviews for successful applicants.
- Updating Internal vacancies on the company Intranet.
- Ensure the business complies with legal requirements, especially regarding employee “Right to Work” checks for all direct employees, sub-contractors and self-employed workers.
- Check and maintain the Recruitment Inboxes daily ensuring e-mails are actioned appropriately, escalating to Recruitment Advisor where needed.
- Update and maintain logs of enquiries received and CVs sent to Hiring Managers.
- Sourcing CVs via online databases.
- Photocopying, binding, mailing, and filing (both physically and electronically).
- Ensuring that the Transfer file is dealt with correctly and efficiently.
- Actively promote a diverse & Inclusive working environment.
- Attend and engage fully in HR Team meetings where applicable.
- Support with any ad hoc HR projects as and when required.
